It will work like this:

We will rotate between classic books and contemporary books.  We will post possible book titles for the first read and you can use comments to cast your vote or try to compell us to chose one over the other.  We will post the name of the book and the date we want to have the book finished by.  Feel free to post along the way.  At the end of the time we will post a variety of discussion questions and we can all chat about our responses. 

This is an evolving idea so if there is something you want to add or take away, please feel free to let the group know.  Also, we can make this as big as we want, so tell anyone you know that might be interested.
